Edmonton Capitals 50/50
The Edmonton Capitals are proud to support Minor Baseball, Little League teams and other charitable organizations throughout Northern Alberta through our 50/50 program that will take place at every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Edmonton Capitals home game. Tickets are sold for $2 with the winner taking home 50% of the pot – up to a total of $5,000! After expenses, the remainder is awarded to the group that volunteered to sell tickets that night. Should the prize go unclaimed the night of the game, the winning ticket holder has 72 hours to claim their prize and can do so at the Edmonton Capitals Head Office located at 11230 - 110 Street 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Winning ticket numbers from the 2009 season are posted below.
We are accepting applications for groups interested in the Edmonton Capitals 50/50 program right now.
Each group that is awarded the right to sell 50/50 tickets must be able to work each game for that particular home series. (Possible Wednesday – Sunday games inclusive including both halves of any potential doubleheaders depending on the home series you are awarded)
Participating organizations must supply between 7 and 10 volunteers per game for the allocated home stand. Volunteer duties include selling tickets, counting cash, and handling ticket stubs. More details will be provided if your organization is selected to participate.
Volunteers must arrive an hour and a half prior to the start of the game and will be expected to work until the completion of the 6th inning of play, for a total commitment of approximately 3 hours.
